Week 5 – Transformation Begins..

This week has been especially intense from the regular readings and blog posts to creating a “Press Release”, switching to Scroll 2 on Friday, in addition to our regular lives. I almost forgot, the exercise for this week is not to give opinions, red-sirentalk about challenging,  I didn’t realize I was so opinionated, LOL. As you can imagine the emotions that I was going thru, worry, panic, where am I going to find this time, which is ironic these are the very things I am trying to eliminate for my life.

stop_lightAfter this initial shock, I got a grip on the mind and emotions stayed faithful with the daily routine, I knew that this was going to be a breeze, but I still had my moments of doubt. Initially I thought how am I going to write this “press release” a story of my dharma already unfolded but as I started to type it and with “DO IT NOW” resonating in my head the words just flowed out me effortlessly, simply amazing when I reflect back on it.

Things are being to “FLOW”, which makes competing these tasks seemingly effortless. I am beginning to think Mark knows what he is talking about it, last week during our “sit” or meditation Haanel asks us to eliminate these negatives thoughts.

“This week, after taking your usual position, remove all tension by completely relaxing, then mentally let go of all adverse conditions, such as hatred, anger, worry, jealousy, envy, sorrow, trouble or disappointment of any kind.”

“…You will not succeed the first time you try, but practice makes perfect, in this as in everything else, and you must succeed in dismissing, eliminating and completely destroying these negative and destructive thoughts; because they are the seed which is constantly germinating into discordant conditions of every conceivable kind and description.”

all_in_buttonI am absolutely stunned by being “ALL IN” that new habits are starting to take shape and old ones are being dismissed. By being the “OBSERVER”, I am able to catch my thoughts and be the gate keeper of what thoughts enter my mind, now how cool is that!!

I know it’s only week 5 but I am absolutely blow away by the changes so far. I’m eager and excited of what’s to come!!

Week 4 – Smell the roses

There is an old saying “slow down and smell the roses.”

This is something that used to be foreign to me, as I was caught up in my life with no available time. But through the Master Keys, I am learning to become an observer, it started off  with small things such as Blue Rectangleblue rectangles  (from week 2 blog) and red circles.reddot

This week, it has progressed to noticing nature, kindness, smiles, service, gratitude and so much more, all things that I have been taking for granted.

smileIt is absolutely amazing what I simple thing like smiling can do; it for one make you feel good and two when you smile at others it makes them feel good as well. Everyone talks about the simple things in life but there is nothing simpler than smiling, being kind and giving compliments.

Through this act of giving and receiving, we create a “flow” thereby creating peptides in the mind which matches the corresponding emotion to create a chemical reaction to simulate the associated cells in the body and which triggers the related memories/feelings. A thought instantly triggers up to 4 billion synaptic connections in the mind which triggers the neuro net and the associated memory’s and feelings related to that thought. green triangle

We need to nourish the mind by constantly affirming positive thoughts and create new peptides in the mind with new feelings and thereby creating a new reality. Therefore, we need to exercise the mind;  Jennifer (a fellow MKMMAer) has a great blog about that at http://t.co/zPFAcHXkm2.

In this weeks reading, Hanaal writes,

“.. when you have learned to control yourself you will have found the “World Within” which controls the world without; you will have become irresistible; men and things will respond to your every wish without any apparent effort on your part.”

The mind is a very powerful muscle, we need to keep nourishing it by associating and relating positive thoughts to it with FEELING AND EMOTION, thereby creating a new reality for ourselves.

Therefore I affirm “I can be what I will to be”, I will exercise my mind as suggested above and  I will create a new reality.

So until next week, let me leave with this following thought;

Again, I am honored and humbled that you have come or returned to read my blog. I hope my posts will inspire you to achieve your own bliss and happiness.

Last week I talk about blue rectangles, I’m grateful for the all the comments and I thank everyone that participated in my poll, over 88% of you saw 10 or more blue rectangles for the week, which is just AMAZING.

This week’s reading of the Master Keys has been I real eye opener for me, it talks about the power within…

As most people, I was believed that if you wanted to be successful that you must work hard and things will just fall into place for you.

BAM, REALITY CHECK, the real world does not work that way other outside factors influence the outcome and derail that dream. Thus my personal journey to self discovery and directing my life the way I want and not letting others dictate it for me.

imagesAs mentioned earlier this week’s reading has really put my previous conceptions (blueprint) into a state of shock and it has shown me the beacon of light to what I have been searching for….. #GREATNESS!!!

GREATNESS is within all of us; it is just a matter of channeling it to your hearts desire and creating habits around that desire to manifest your bliss, as the following passage suggests;

“This centre of energy is Omnipotent because it is the point of contact with all life and all intelligence. It can therefore accomplish whatever it is directed to accomplish, and herein lies the power of the conscious mind; the subconscious can and will carry out such plans and ideas as may be suggested to it by the conscious mind.

Conscious thought, then, is master of this sun centre fromwhich the life and energy of the entire body flows and the quality of the thought which we entertain determines the quality of the thought which this sun will radiate, and the character of the thought which our conscious mind entertains will determine the character of the thought which this sun will radiate, and the nature of the thought which our conscious mind entertains will determine the nature of thought which this sun will radiate, and consequently will determine the nature of the experience which will result.”

To this point, I been searching for this my whole life up until 3 days ago BAM it hits me in the face it’s been within me this whole time. Now, I just need to nurture it and let it manifest into my bliss.

So let me ask, do you have greatness within you?

I truly believe that everyone has greatness within them, it’s just matter of finding it and letting it manifest into your bliss/dharma.  I encourage you to follow my blog and join me as I continue on this journey.

First and foremost, I am honored and humbled that you have come or returned to read my blog. I hope my posts will inspire you to achieve your own bliss and happiness.

I know what you thinking, Blue Rectangles really?  Blue Rectangle

As previously mentioned, I have begun a 26 week journey of self discovery using the Master Keys system. As human beings, we are creatures of habit,  we all have good and bad habits, and what I discovered over the past 11 days is that my habits created by me over the years have been affecting my life.

“In truth, the only difference between those who have failed and those who have succeeded lies in the differences of their habits. Good habits are the key to all success. Bad habits are the unlocked door to failure.” Og Mandino

This passage has really struck a chord within me as I have been reading the ‘Greatest Salesman in the World”  3 times daily.Blue Rectangle

So that brings us back to the Blue Rectangles, this week I had to create a 2 cards; a “chore card”  and DMP (Definite Major Purpose) card.  For the chore card, I have to pick a simple chore and have it completed on or before this October 13, as for the DMP card write down to verbally say “DO IT NOW!!” 25 times out load with enthusiasm after each item to draw a blue rectangle.

On each card on the other side,  to write our two personal pivotal needs (PPN), I chose LEGACY and AUTONOMY for mine.

Blue RectangleI  need to read these cards 3 times daily with enthusiasm and out loud, additionally observe and notice all the blue rectangles around me.  I have been reading them during my commute, although it may appear that I might be crazy talking to myself, it doesn’t bother me as I know this is a process to I need to conquer to achieve my DMP or dharma

I believe the purpose behind this is to foster a new habit and to recognize the success in completing them, albeit a small victory which I believe will lay the foundation to greater success in the future.

Blue rectangles…. I would love for you to complete my poll  and thanks for stopping by and I hope you return to follow my continuing journey.

Week 1 – The Journey Begins….

First and foremost, I am honored and humbled that you have come to read my blog. I hope my posts will inspire you to achieve your own bliss and happiness.

Just a little background story about myself, my name is Paul Kooner. I am married to an amazing woman and we have three beautiful children living in the city of Vancouver, BC Canada.

I like most people have been taught from an early age to go to school to learn, find a career and earn a living to provide for our families. One of greatest memories of my childhood was that I could imagine and daydream about all the different possibilities of my live without any restrictions or limitations. But as I got older, those around me kept telling me that imagination and dreams doesn’t work in the real world, thus burying that down and to just follow the norms of society.

I would say that I have lived a normal life thus far but I have always desired to do more with my life. Over the past year, I have been introduced to the book THINK and GROW RICH by Napoleon Hill, basically chronicling the most successful men and women of the last century and how they achieve their success. What eye opener for me, I realized that these people were just normal people but they had a burning desire within them to be successful and would not let anything deter them from achieving it.

Upon reflection, I realized that I had not been following through with my goals/desires and giving up when things don’t go my way. I also realized that I have been living my life without a definite major purpose (DMP) or Dharma “purpose in life”.

As I continued on my self discovery journey, I came across the Master Keys which is an extension of Think and Grow Rich book and the “Greatest Salesman” by OG Mandino. I have just begun this 6 month course to change the outcome of my life and my family and to help others along the way to achieve their bliss or dharma. I have only read this a couple of times but the following passage stands out and resonated with me.

“The world without is a reflection of the world within. What appears without is what has been found within. In the world within may be found infinite Wisdom, infinite Power, infinite Supply of all that is necessary, waiting for unfoldment, development and expression. If we recognize these potentialities in the world within they will take form in the world without.”

All of us have this within us, we just need to draw it out and let manifest into our dharma/ DMP. We are all creatures of habit, therefore thru repetition we must develop a success habit and eliminate our old bad habits.

This is my journey, I appreciate you reading my blog and hope that you will return to follow my journey over the next 6 months.
