MKMMA Week 2 – Words…

shorelineWhat do you think of when you see a great piece of artwork? Such art work as paints, sculptures, architecture, literature and books etc.

How many people have a seen a great painting in a museum? Who is this creative artist? How did this painting come about, well it starts with the artist having an inspiration or an artmonaidea. Then he/she takes that idea/ inspiration and begins to transition it to the canvas. This process can take days, month or years depending on the scope of the project to complete their artwork. What is the result? A stunning painting, sculptures, etc that people marvel at and wonder how it came into being.

How many people have a seen a great piece of architecture? Who is Statue of Liberty_flickr_216759898_429003983c_zthis creative artist? How did this structure come about, again it starts with the artist having an inspiration or an idea. Then he/she takes that idea/ inspiration and begins to transition it to the drawings . This process can take days, month or years depending on the scope of the project to complete their eiffel-towerstructure. What is the result? A stunning a building that people marvel at and wonder how it came into being.

However, I believe that words are the greatest forms of art. I know what you thinking what are you talking about? Just hear me out, words put together make sentences, sentences make paragraphs and so on. We can use words to create whatever our heart desires. Over the past two weeks, I have been honored and privileged to have read Definite Major Purpose (DMP’s) from the 20+ members of the 2014/2015 Masterkey class . These members “artists” are creating their masterpiece one word at a time. The result an amazing and exciting picture of their dharma/ bliss, that people marvel at and wonder how it came into being.

MKMMA Week 24 – “Unplugged”

This is the final week of the MKMMA live webcasts & training, it’s been a magnificent & fantastic ride over the past 26 weeks. The things I have learned from this course have been life changing and are opening up opportunities that I would not have concerned in the past.

If you are familiar with the movie the “Matrix”, there is a scene where “Neo” (Keanu Reeves) is “unplugged” from the matrix (programmed world) into the “real” world. This scene captures the essence of the Master Keys for me and I’m sure my MKMMA classmates would agree too.  We have been living regular lives directed the “society” but over the past 26 weeks we have learned ways to filter out all the noise around us and to start  listening to our inner voice to achieve our dharma.

26 weeks ago, I started to this journey of self-discovery, previously searching for answers outside when in reality I just needed to search within myself. These answers has always been there all the time, I just didn’t know how to get access them but I know now which is so powerful that I can call on it anytime I need. The mind is the most amazing gift we have been given but most people are not using it to its fullest potential. The master key has taught me that the “Mind” is the getaway to our dharma & bliss.

Although the formal part of the Master Keys course is ending, I consider this to be only the beginning of my journey toward my dharma and I’m excited of what lies ahead.

I want to thank Mark, Davene, Trish, Heather and the countless others for putting this course together and for mentoring us along through this amazing journey, Mahalo. To my fellow MKMMA classmates thanks for “finishing strong”,  your friendship and a lifetime bond that spans the globe, I can feel our presence (vibration) around me and I know I can call on it anytime, Thank You!!!.

Additionally, I would like to express my appreciation and gratitude to all that have followed, read & commented on my blog over the past 6 months, Thank you!!!

BTW I do plan on continue with my blogging.

Peace be the journey…

Week 15: Makeover Anyone?

Make over anyone? I know what you thinking makeover really, what does that have to do with the Master Keys?

This week, we were asked to begin a 13 week makeover, focusing on 13 traits. Two of the traits were preselected and we had to rank the following 11 traits based what we need the most help in and rank them accordingly:

Self-Control

Discipline

Enthusiasm

Courage

Persistence

Specialized Knowledge

Imagination

Decisiveness

Well‐Organized

Taking Initiative

Pleasing Personality

This makeover is based on the franklin makeover, I have provided a link if you would like some more information.

http://www.ushistory.org/franklin/autobiography/page38.htm

For this makeover, we need to observe our #1 trait in our daily activities, such as in other people, TV shows, movies, animals, nature, etc. Thus building confidence within us as we notice it all around us.

For my trait, I picked “self- control”, Webster’s dictionary defines it as “restraint exercised over one’s own impulses, emotions, or desires.”

Although I am only 5 days in, I have already noticed the difference in myself and a bonus it has helped me with my mental diet. I can’t wait to see what the transformation is going to be like after the 13 weeks. I am looking forward to it and I will  be posting updates as I progress along.

Until next time, peace be the journey!

Week 13 – the Strangest Secret…

I trust everyone had a great Christmas and wishing everyone a prosperous New Year!!

As we continue on with previous week(s) theme of the power of thought and the mind, this week’s assignment of listening and reading Earl Nightengales “Strangest secret in the World.”

I have attached the link below and I encourage everyone to listen to this recording.

http://www.18mind.com/mind/the_strangest_secret

Words cannot express how powerful this recording is, it’s simply amazing how in sync it is with the Master Keys and the new habits we are building toward our dharma/bliss,  the following quotes from the recording really hit home for me.

“Success is the progressive realization of a worthy ideal.” (Definite Major Purpose)

A success is anyone who is pursuing deliberately a predetermined goal, because that’s what he or she decided to do … deliberately.  (Burning Desire)

The following passage sums it up perfect, why people are not successful and how values are misguided;

“The problem is that our mind comes as standard equipment at birth. It’s free.
And things that are given to us for nothing, we place little value on but the things that we pay money for, we value.

The paradox is that exactly the reverse is true. Everything that’s really worthwhile in life came to us free: our minds, our souls, our bodies, our hopes, our dreams, our ambitions, our intelligence, our love of family and children and friends and country.

All these priceless possessions are free.

But the things that cost us money are actually very cheap and can be replaced at any time… Even if our home burns down, we can rebuild it. But the things we got for nothing, we can never replace. The human mind is not used because we take it for granted.

 “Familiarity breeds contempt”.

The mind was given to us for free and its the gateway to help achieve your definite purpose in life, so lets use it to manifest your dharma (lets nurture the world within, so that it can manifest in the world without). Nightengale also talks about his 30 day plan of staying positive for 30 straight days (Mental Diet, Positive Mental Attitude), and outlines the plan as follows;

One: Think – You will become what you think about.
Two: Imagine – Remember the word imagination and let your mind begin to soar.
Three: Courage – Concentrate on your goal every day.
Four: Save – ten percent of what you earn.
Five: Action – Ideas are worthless unless we act on them.

As 2014, is almost upon us, a positive mental attitude (PMA) and step 5 are the key to help all of us manifest your Dharma, so let’s make are actions count and stay positive!

Week 11 – Power of Thought!

Mind

As we continue on our Master Keys journey, this week we dig deeper into the mind, the power of thought, cause and effect.

Hanaal writes;

“It is well, however, to remember that while every effect is the result of a cause, the effect in turn becomes a cause, which creates other effects, which in turn create still other causes; so that when you put the law of attraction into operation you must remember that you are starting a train of causation for good or otherwise which may have endless possibilities.”

Basically what we think about grows and those thoughts attract forces to us to manifest those thoughts. The “mysterious source” that Hanaal mentions earlier in the master keys readings.

magent-placeholder

The mind is like a magnet attracting to those conditions we think about, for instance if we think positive thoughts, positive things will happen to you or vice versa if we think negative thoughts, then negative things will happen to you.

Positive Thinking Word Cloud Concept

I have always believed this but this interruption by Hanaal takes to a whole new level!! It boggles the mind to think this book was written in the early 1900’s, the depth of jis insight about the mind is truly unbelievable and remarkable.

Hanaal goes on to say;

11 – 20 “… Inductive reasoning is the process of the objective mind, by which we compare a number of separate instances with one another until we see the common factor that gives rise to them all. We see people in every civilized country on the globe, securing results by some process which they do not seem to understand themselves, and to which they usually attach more or less mystery. Our reason is given to us for the purpose of ascertaining the law by which these results are accomplished.”

11 – 21 “The operation of this thought process is seen in those fortunate natures that possess everything that others must acquire by toil, who never have a struggle with conscience because they always act correctly, and can never conduct themselves otherwise than with tact, learn everything easily, complete everything they begin with a happy knack, live in eternal harmony with themselves, without ever reflecting much what they do, or ever experiencing difficulty or toil.”

These two passages really resonated with me on my current journey through the master keys. The “common factor that gives to them all” is our Definite Major Purpose (DMP) and the exercises that we have been doing the last 11 weeks has prepared and nurtured our mind so that we can “plant the seed”. The conditions are right for the seed (DMP) to grow and become reality and attract those forces that will manifest it.

seed_to_plant_growth

As my follow MKMMA can attest the past few weeks have been tough, from the mental diet, no opinions, to letting all negative energies leave our mind and body and embracing “love” for everyone and everything. I am amazed at the changes I’m seeing in myself but I’m more ecstatic that as a group that we are on the crevasse of greatness and we can change the world!!

globe_west_2048

“I am whole, perfect, strong, powerful, loving, harmonious and happy.”

Week 9 – Fuhgettaboutit!!

I’m continually amazed week in and week out with the Master Keys; this course is truly game (Life) changing!!

I knew the mind was powerful but I had no idea of the magnitude until taking this course. Everyday people “think” but this course takes it to a whole new level, truly mind-blowing pardon the pun. For the first time in my life, I feel like I’m actually using my mind properly.

1254880_72709589For those of you that are familiar with the movie “Rocky”, there is one scene where he runs up the stairs and starts jumping around with his arms in the air (Victory). Like Rocky I’m training my mind day in and day out without fail, (ironically I’m using the music from this movie for my recordings and which by the way I am listening to right now as I write). Although these mental exercise are simple yet so powerful at the same time is truly remarkable.

RockyBalboa5Visualization, a simple concept yet done properly is so powerful and can yield so much more, as Hanaal states in 8-15;

“Visualization is the mechanism of the attachment which you require. Visualization is a very different process from seeing; seeing is physical, and is therefore related to the objective world, the “world without,” but Visualization is a product of the imagination, and is therefore a product of the subjective mind, the “world within.” It therefore possesses vitality; it will grow. The thing visualized will manifest itself in form. The mechanism is perfect; it was created by the Master Architect who “doeth all things well,” but unfortunately sometimes the operator is inexperienced or inefficient, but practice and determination will overcome this defect.”

It has been pointed out the seven ways people learn;

  • Spatially
  • Musically
  • Interpersonally
  • Intrapersonal
  • Mathematically
  • Linguistically
  • Athletically

brainpower-1I have been doing these mental exercises separately but now we been asked to combine them and to “take it up a notch” to keep peppering the subconscious mind “Subby” until it has no choice but to manifest my definite major purpose (DMP), as MJ likes to say Fuhgettaboutit!!!!

I can feel my mind getting stronger everyday and in couple of months I’ll need to find a public building with some stairs so that I can run up them and jump around once I get to the top!

“I am whole, perfect, strong, powerful, loving, harmonious and happy.”

I always keep my promises!

Week 2 – BLUE RECTANGLES

First and foremost, I am honored and humbled that you have come or returned to read my blog. I hope my posts will inspire you to achieve your own bliss and happiness.

I know what you thinking, Blue Rectangles really?  Blue Rectangle

As previously mentioned, I have begun a 26 week journey of self discovery using the Master Keys system. As human beings, we are creatures of habit,  we all have good and bad habits, and what I discovered over the past 11 days is that my habits created by me over the years have been affecting my life.

“In truth, the only difference between those who have failed and those who have succeeded lies in the differences of their habits. Good habits are the key to all success. Bad habits are the unlocked door to failure.” Og Mandino

This passage has really struck a chord within me as I have been reading the ‘Greatest Salesman in the World”  3 times daily.Blue Rectangle

So that brings us back to the Blue Rectangles, this week I had to create a 2 cards; a “chore card”  and DMP (Definite Major Purpose) card.  For the chore card, I have to pick a simple chore and have it completed on or before this October 13, as for the DMP card write down to verbally say “DO IT NOW!!” 25 times out load with enthusiasm after each item to draw a blue rectangle.

On each card on the other side,  to write our two personal pivotal needs (PPN), I chose LEGACY and AUTONOMY for mine.

Blue RectangleI  need to read these cards 3 times daily with enthusiasm and out loud, additionally observe and notice all the blue rectangles around me.  I have been reading them during my commute, although it may appear that I might be crazy talking to myself, it doesn’t bother me as I know this is a process to I need to conquer to achieve my DMP or dharma

I believe the purpose behind this is to foster a new habit and to recognize the success in completing them, albeit a small victory which I believe will lay the foundation to greater success in the future.

Blue rectangles…. I would love for you to complete my poll  and thanks for stopping by and I hope you return to follow my continuing journey.
