MKMMA Week 24 – “Unplugged”

This is the final week of the MKMMA live webcasts & training, it’s been a magnificent & fantastic ride over the past 26 weeks. The things I have learned from this course have been life changing and are opening up opportunities that I would not have concerned in the past.

If you are familiar with the movie the “Matrix”, there is a scene where “Neo” (Keanu Reeves) is “unplugged” from the matrix (programmed world) into the “real” world. This scene captures the essence of the Master Keys for me and I’m sure my MKMMA classmates would agree too.  We have been living regular lives directed the “society” but over the past 26 weeks we have learned ways to filter out all the noise around us and to start  listening to our inner voice to achieve our dharma.

26 weeks ago, I started to this journey of self-discovery, previously searching for answers outside when in reality I just needed to search within myself. These answers has always been there all the time, I just didn’t know how to get access them but I know now which is so powerful that I can call on it anytime I need. The mind is the most amazing gift we have been given but most people are not using it to its fullest potential. The master key has taught me that the “Mind” is the getaway to our dharma & bliss.

Although the formal part of the Master Keys course is ending, I consider this to be only the beginning of my journey toward my dharma and I’m excited of what lies ahead.

I want to thank Mark, Davene, Trish, Heather and the countless others for putting this course together and for mentoring us along through this amazing journey, Mahalo. To my fellow MKMMA classmates thanks for “finishing strong”,  your friendship and a lifetime bond that spans the globe, I can feel our presence (vibration) around me and I know I can call on it anytime, Thank You!!!.

Additionally, I would like to express my appreciation and gratitude to all that have followed, read & commented on my blog over the past 6 months, Thank you!!!

BTW I do plan on continue with my blogging.

Peace be the journey…

Week 20 – Law of Supply & Demand (Redefined)

Supply-and-Demand-ScaleMost people are aware of the law of supply and demand, especially if you have taken any economic courses. Which, I have taken a few multiple economic courses in my past, the basic principle is based on the fact in economic terms the price of an item is determined by the supply and demand of the item, for example in real estate, in simple terms excluding other factors, sale price of home is determined by supply of the homes available and others buyers, in addition to the demand created by other buyers/ investors or other favorable conditions such as interest rates etc, basically the point were it balances equally.

I don’t want to bore with an economics lesson but I wanted to share my revelation this week during our readings of the Master Keys, which has opened my eyes to a much deeper & meanful definition of Supply & Demand, as Hanaalwrites;

20. We can live more abundantly every time we breathe, if we consciously breathe with that intention. The IF is a very important condition in this case, as the intention governs the attention, and without the attention you can secure only the results which everyone else secures. That is, a supply equal to the demand.

21. In order to secure the larger supply your demand must be increased, and as you consciously increase the demand the supply will follow, you will find yourself coming into a larger and larger supply of life, energy and vitality.

27. Thought is creative vibration and the quality of the conditions created will depend upon the quality of our thought, because we cannot express powers which we do not possess. We must “be” before we can “do” and we can “do” only to the extent to which we “are,” and so what we do will necessarily coincide with what we “are” and what we are depends upon what we “think.”

28. Every time you think you start a train of causation which will create a condition in strict accordance with the quality of the thought which originated it. Thought which is in harmony with the Universal Mind will result in corresponding conditions. Thought which is destructive or discordant will produce corresponding results. You may use thought constructively or destructively, but the immutable law will not allow you to plant a thought of one kind and reap the fruit of another. You are free to use this marvelous creative power as you will, but you must take the consequences.

As mentioned in previous posts, the power of thought has a massive payoff if applied in the correct way, as Hanaal mentions;

13. This power of thought, if understood and correctly used, is the greatest labor-saving device ever dreamed of, but if not understood or improperly used, the result will in all probability be disastrous, as we have already seen; by the help of this power you can confidently undertake things that are seemingly impossible, because this power is the secret of all inspiration, all genius.

17. An understanding of these facts, first intellectually and then emotionally, will enable us to drink deeply from this ocean of infinite power. An intellectual understanding will be of no assistance; the emotions must be brought into action; thought without feeling is cold. The required combination is thought and feeling.

As stated, previously whatever we consistently think about grows and add emotion and its only a matter of time before it becomes reality. I express tremendous gratitude to everyone that reads my post, and I would like to leave with this last thought from Hanaal.

“The spirit of a thing is that thing; it is necessarily fixed, changeless and eternal. The spirit of you is — you; without the spirit you would be nothing. It becomes active through your recognition of it and its possibilities.”

Week 19 – Strike a Pose!!!

I’m still on high from last week and this week has been no different.

As you know we have been training our mind for the past 19 weeks and everyone knows the mind is the most powerful mechanism on the planet but the lesson this week takes it to a whole different level!

It like a Double BAM! BAM! As Mark J likes to say.

Before I continue you need to check this video by Amy Cuddy, a social psychologist on how your body language shapes who you are;

This video is absolutely AWESOME!! I have watched it about a few times now and every time it blows me away!! Power poses who knew? A very few but I whole a lot more people know about it now, including you.

I can totally relate to her example about job interviews, I been through my fair share and when it didn’t go my way I would always look back and think “what could I have done more or better”.  Amy talks about “fake it till you become it”, what a simple and impactful concept, if you are willing to change, we need to train our mind with these “power poses” to become the person we were intended to be.

So which pose will you be striking?

Till next time, Peace by the journey!

Week 13 – the Strangest Secret…

I trust everyone had a great Christmas and wishing everyone a prosperous New Year!!

As we continue on with previous week(s) theme of the power of thought and the mind, this week’s assignment of listening and reading Earl Nightengales “Strangest secret in the World.”

I have attached the link below and I encourage everyone to listen to this recording.

Words cannot express how powerful this recording is, it’s simply amazing how in sync it is with the Master Keys and the new habits we are building toward our dharma/bliss,  the following quotes from the recording really hit home for me.

“Success is the progressive realization of a worthy ideal.” (Definite Major Purpose)

A success is anyone who is pursuing deliberately a predetermined goal, because that’s what he or she decided to do … deliberately.  (Burning Desire)

The following passage sums it up perfect, why people are not successful and how values are misguided;

“The problem is that our mind comes as standard equipment at birth. It’s free.
And things that are given to us for nothing, we place little value on but the things that we pay money for, we value.

The paradox is that exactly the reverse is true. Everything that’s really worthwhile in life came to us free: our minds, our souls, our bodies, our hopes, our dreams, our ambitions, our intelligence, our love of family and children and friends and country.

All these priceless possessions are free.

But the things that cost us money are actually very cheap and can be replaced at any time… Even if our home burns down, we can rebuild it. But the things we got for nothing, we can never replace. The human mind is not used because we take it for granted.

 “Familiarity breeds contempt”.

The mind was given to us for free and its the gateway to help achieve your definite purpose in life, so lets use it to manifest your dharma (lets nurture the world within, so that it can manifest in the world without). Nightengale also talks about his 30 day plan of staying positive for 30 straight days (Mental Diet, Positive Mental Attitude), and outlines the plan as follows;

One: Think – You will become what you think about.
Two: Imagine – Remember the word imagination and let your mind begin to soar.
Three: Courage – Concentrate on your goal every day.
Four: Save – ten percent of what you earn.
Five: Action – Ideas are worthless unless we act on them.

As 2014, is almost upon us, a positive mental attitude (PMA) and step 5 are the key to help all of us manifest your Dharma, so let’s make are actions count and stay positive!

Week 4 – Smell the roses

There is an old saying “slow down and smell the roses.”

This is something that used to be foreign to me, as I was caught up in my life with no available time. But through the Master Keys, I am learning to become an observer, it started off  with small things such as Blue Rectangleblue rectangles  (from week 2 blog) and red circles.reddot

This week, it has progressed to noticing nature, kindness, smiles, service, gratitude and so much more, all things that I have been taking for granted.

smileIt is absolutely amazing what I simple thing like smiling can do; it for one make you feel good and two when you smile at others it makes them feel good as well. Everyone talks about the simple things in life but there is nothing simpler than smiling, being kind and giving compliments.

Through this act of giving and receiving, we create a “flow” thereby creating peptides in the mind which matches the corresponding emotion to create a chemical reaction to simulate the associated cells in the body and which triggers the related memories/feelings. A thought instantly triggers up to 4 billion synaptic connections in the mind which triggers the neuro net and the associated memory’s and feelings related to that thought. green triangle

We need to nourish the mind by constantly affirming positive thoughts and create new peptides in the mind with new feelings and thereby creating a new reality. Therefore, we need to exercise the mind;  Jennifer (a fellow MKMMAer) has a great blog about that at http://t.co/zPFAcHXkm2.

In this weeks reading, Hanaal writes,

“.. when you have learned to control yourself you will have found the “World Within” which controls the world without; you will have become irresistible; men and things will respond to your every wish without any apparent effort on your part.”

The mind is a very powerful muscle, we need to keep nourishing it by associating and relating positive thoughts to it with FEELING AND EMOTION, thereby creating a new reality for ourselves.

Therefore I affirm “I can be what I will to be”, I will exercise my mind as suggested above and  I will create a new reality.

So until next week, let me leave with this following thought;
